Does Google Analytics not show your Blog Traffic? Here's the Solution

Hello Friends,

Have you had problems in monitoring your traffic using google analytics? Find out what you have done wrong, here is a simple solution for a mistake that you have done when you set up google analytics.

The main pleasure that a blogger has is to get as much traffic as he can to his blog and feel content with his writing knowing that there are hundreds and thousands of people around the globe reading and learning what he has to say.
In order to have this self-satisfaction he may need to monitor who come when and why they come to his blog, even though the blogger has a tracking system in place, google analytics is the place where google calculates and monitors the traffic of each page.

So normally what a blogger does is that the goes to google analytics and gives the URL of his web site, and waits to see what has really happened.

Usually what happens is that google analytics does not show anything but just says that there are zero users or there are no people visiting your account.
This actually is wrong!!

Many people might have come to your site and they might have used the site to gain all the information they need.
What you just did wrong was that you did not setup your account right.

I will take the assumption that you have set up the google analytics as usual and I will be giving you what you need to monitor actual traffic.

There are actually 2 methods to get this done.

1.    Go to google analytics and move your cursor to Admin.
You will find three columns which are account, property and view.
Under the property column you will see something called the Tracking info.
Under Tracking info, you will find the tracking code go there.
In that you will find something called the Global Site Tag (gtag.js)

You will see some code there, so what you need to do is that you need to copy that code.
Now go to blogger and go to Theme.
There you will find your theme, take the option to edit using HTML.

Copy the code under <head> in the HTML code and save.
That’s all for method one now you will monitor all the traffic in all the pages of your blog.
2.    The second method is fairly simple.
You may go to the property column as mentioned in the method 1. Under the property column you will see something called the Tracking info.
Under Tracking info, you will find the tracking code go there.
You will find something called the Tracking ID. Copy that.

Go to blogger and go to settings and then go to Other.
You will find something called Google analytics. Paste your Tracking ID there and save.

Now you are done you will now gain full access through google analytics to monitor your traffic.

You may use any one of the two methods mentioned.

Have you tried it? Was it Successful? What are the issues you encountered?  Comment on the section provided below. And also, don’t forget to follow the page fore more info.

What are VCC's (Virtual Credit Cards) ?

Hi Friends,

Have you done online shopping? Were you curious that someone would use your credentials and go on spending it so that you would be in dept? Since you are giving your card number the expiry date, the CVV, yes you absolutely have the right to be afraid.

VCC (Virtual credit cards) is the alternative that was introduced to overcome that fear.

So, what are these VCC?

Actually, a VCC is similar to a credit card, they provide the facility to the card holders to use the card without exposing the true credentials of the actual credit card.
The issuer or the service provider will allow you to have the function to lock or delete the particular VCC number, you are also provided with the facility to limit the number of uses at a single merchant and you are responsible to add the spending limits of the card.

You can easily remove the VCC without affecting the actual credit card.
Note that the credit card is always linked with the VCC.
Some link PayPal to the card and the Pay pal is linked to the bank account.

VCC is a facility that only provides its services for online shopping, you may not use it to directly gain cash, but there is an alternative way where you could link the card to a bank account and get the cash there.

Today most online businessmen use these VCC’s, for an example an eBay trader can enjoy huge benefits because id there is an issue with the eBay account you need not remake your credit or debit cards you can easily change the virtual card number.

The cons of VCC’s are they are not ideal for transactions with refunds and since their expiration dates are low this may also be an issue for your active subscriptions.

Today most banks provide VCC’s to their customers because of their popularity.

Have you used a VCC? What are your experiences? Comment in to join the discussion.

Dropped my Phone in water-How did i recover it? Personal Experience

Hey friends,

Today we are going to discuss on a personal experience of mine; that is what happens when you drop a phone in water. Actually, I dropped my phone in the toilet. Opss…

So, if you drop your phone into water what you will do is to see whether it is working, let’s say your phone was working fine then what you will do is you wipe your phone and use it as usual.

What happened to me was that I dropped my phone into the toilet and I washed it till it was clean. Unusually my phone gets wet and since it is water resistant I did not care. I did put my phone into my pocket and went away to work.

So, what is the meaning of a phone being water resistive? Is it similar to what is being said as water proof?

If the phone is water proof that means that you can use it under water but the issue is if there is a small crack or some issue with the phone cover then you may say bye to the phone.

These days phone manufacturers use the IP rating which is the ingress protection rating to rate their phone, that is it specifies how well it performs under water.
Basically, IP rating is used for water resistive phones giving limitations to the way you use a phone in water.
I will be doing a detailed discussion on the IP rating in the near future.

So, the next question that arises is that if the phone is water resistive can I use it with water on it? the answer for that my friend is No, if the phone is water resistant then be sure to not apply water on it for too long because you are never sure.

For an example the iPhone X has an IP rating of IP67 that means that you may use the phone under water for 30mins in a depth of 1 to 1.5 meters, having said that are you going to do that, my answer to that is NO because these are test results done in labs for pure water.

So, what happened to my phone?

Actually, I was careless I did put my phone in my pocket and went to work. In the office I took out my phone since I wanted to take a call, the phone was off it was only 6 months old and I even had warranty, soon I released that there is no warranty component for water damaged phones.

So how can I overcome this?

I took a bowl of rice and put it in there, I was anxious and through numerous reading through websites I got to know that even though rice absorbs water the dust in there will create corrosion in my board.
It is not water that actually corrodes the board but it is the particles that are mixed in it.
If your phone is damaged through water please do not put it in a rice but start using a hair drier to dry it, I couldn’t find a hair dryer so I went to an alternative solution, I went for a phone service If you do not dry it properly corrosion will start doing its work.

After about a day I managed to start up the phone but it was under reboot, the service person told me that there was an issue with the board.

I did not want to give up on my phone since It was quite new.
What I did was I made it to dehydrate; that is by keeping it in shed or in sunlight till about 7 days.

Went to another phone repairer and told him to see how many IC’s have gone wrong.

One fine evening he told me that there was an issue with an IC and he replaced it and the phone is now working fine.
I did manage to recover my phone but lost all my memory.
So, I did this by going through tons of research.
Let me jot them done so that you may use it.

1.    If you drop your phone in water do not do anything just switch it off. Do not charge it or switch it on Yet
2.    Do not put it in rice, but try other ways to dry the phone for an example using a hair dryer.
3.    If you are good with phone, remove the phone to pieces and keep it in an AC room for and example a server room for about 3-4 days.
4.    If you do not have an AC room, wrap the components in a sealed bag and put it in the deep freezer for about a week.
5.    If you cannot do the work list above then immediately go to a phone repairer and ask him to service it immediately.
6.    Switch on the phone and it will work.
7.    If you switched it on or charged it when it was in contact with water, check for any IC damages after the drying process, replace them and it will work.

What are PTC Sites? How do they work?

Hey Friends,

Well come to another discussion on E-knowledge by theory2learn.
PTC sites, actually what are they?

Basically, PTC sites are a form of satisfying the financial need of two parties based on their requirement. Some parties love to advertise their products, work, methods, items etc.  and by that they are seeking to get a higher return, actually it is a form of marketing a product.

The other party consists of personals that needs money or persons who are seeking methods on the internet to get money.
The platform providing the two components mentioned above to meet is the third party here.

They facilitate the advertisers by giving them the opportunity to add advertisements to the sites, however they come at a cost.
The persons seeking money are provided with those adds to click, naturally people do not prefer watching advertisements, but what the platform does is that the pay the viewers to watch the adds.

Therefore, now it is a win, win, win situation, the advertiser wins because their prime motive is advertising its products and the people are watching them, the third-party wins because they are being paid by the advertisers as well as the viewers (by the entry payment), and the viewers are happy to watch adds because they are paid for it.
This actually is the simple context of PTC sites (Paid to click).

Today a vast majority of youth who are involved in e-trading are accessing these PTC sites in order to gain small incomes.
They are easy and you do not need any knowledge to do this, it is simple as it can be.

In a majority of sites there is a free method to find cash but the income that is generated by viewing adds are very low basically it is like 0.01$ per click and the number of clicks per day is very minimum that is basically like 10 adds, therefore if a person uses this method, he will only get 0.1 $ per day.

This actually is a trick put forward by the platform in order to make the viewers pay for what they see, there are certain methods to upgrade the number of adds viewed per day and thereby make your work worth and profitable.

There are many methods or attractions put forward by the platform to give the opportunity to the viewers to gain more money so that they could attract more customers to the web sites. They have introduced a method called using the referrals as a gateway to sign up. That is if person “A” uses the referral of person” B” to start up his account then person” B” will get a commission from that. Therefore, what the viewers does is that they promote their referral and thereby the website is promoted.

So, if you are seeking a method to gain e-money, using PTC sites is a good idea as a startup but I believe that the revenue that you will generate is not that big, but for a startup the smaller the better.

I am hoping to bring in details of some popular PTC websites in the future.

What is your favorite PTC site? How much are you gaining per month? Share your thoughts and help us improve our discussion.
