Does Google Analytics not show your Blog Traffic? Here's the Solution

Hello Friends,

Have you had problems in monitoring your traffic using google analytics? Find out what you have done wrong, here is a simple solution for a mistake that you have done when you set up google analytics.

The main pleasure that a blogger has is to get as much traffic as he can to his blog and feel content with his writing knowing that there are hundreds and thousands of people around the globe reading and learning what he has to say.
In order to have this self-satisfaction he may need to monitor who come when and why they come to his blog, even though the blogger has a tracking system in place, google analytics is the place where google calculates and monitors the traffic of each page.

So normally what a blogger does is that the goes to google analytics and gives the URL of his web site, and waits to see what has really happened.

Usually what happens is that google analytics does not show anything but just says that there are zero users or there are no people visiting your account.
This actually is wrong!!

Many people might have come to your site and they might have used the site to gain all the information they need.
What you just did wrong was that you did not setup your account right.

I will take the assumption that you have set up the google analytics as usual and I will be giving you what you need to monitor actual traffic.

There are actually 2 methods to get this done.

1.    Go to google analytics and move your cursor to Admin.
You will find three columns which are account, property and view.
Under the property column you will see something called the Tracking info.
Under Tracking info, you will find the tracking code go there.
In that you will find something called the Global Site Tag (gtag.js)

You will see some code there, so what you need to do is that you need to copy that code.
Now go to blogger and go to Theme.
There you will find your theme, take the option to edit using HTML.

Copy the code under <head> in the HTML code and save.
That’s all for method one now you will monitor all the traffic in all the pages of your blog.
2.    The second method is fairly simple.
You may go to the property column as mentioned in the method 1. Under the property column you will see something called the Tracking info.
Under Tracking info, you will find the tracking code go there.
You will find something called the Tracking ID. Copy that.

Go to blogger and go to settings and then go to Other.
You will find something called Google analytics. Paste your Tracking ID there and save.

Now you are done you will now gain full access through google analytics to monitor your traffic.

You may use any one of the two methods mentioned.
