Hi Friends,
Do you have a PayPal account to do online transactions? Is it
easy? Do you love working with it?
Well then fine don not read this
post!!
But if you are a person who has
got your PayPal account limited then
be sure to read this, because this is a post that can help you out of it.
Well speaking from personal experience,
I did a drop shipping business from Aliexpress to eBay. The business was going
fine and I loved doing it.
One fine morning I got to see that
miserable look in my PayPal account saying, that your PayPal account in temporarily
banned and you need to submit some documents to uplift the ban.
So, what exactly were the
documents they were asking for-
· Your
ID to clarify that it was you.
· Address
Proof, Your Credit card proof, Water bill or any bill to your name.
· Tracking
Numbers of Certain Transactions and the method you shipped them.
· The
soft copies of the invoices-this is to be genuine that you had the items with
you.
So, folks all is fine but submitting
invoices are the tricky part, how will you submit invoices if they were made by
you? But in my case, I was doing drop shipping and I did not have any invoice
with me, but I did maintain a good database I knew my suppliers and I had sold
more than 100 items by that time, please be sure to maintain a good database if
you are doing drop shipping, comment your email below if you need help on maintain
a database.
I did contact my suppliers and got down all the invoices that I can,
compiled them and sent them to PayPal, I even wrote a letter to PayPal stating my difficulties and sent it along
with the documents to further prove that I am genuine seller. Then came a message
that my documents are currently under check and they will let me know on the details of the review sometimes later.
So again, after about 2,3 days I logged
on to my PayPal account and got to see review as below.
I was shocked, more than the shock
I did not know how to repay my dept, I did the business using my credit card, I
did business close to USD 1.5K. So, what can I do now???
As per the message I should wait
for 180 days to recover the money.
I started reading books, web sites
and stuff go know what my options are, some have posted that they did not get
the money, so I started feeling afraid, moreover the business that was going
well till yesterday has become a nightmare overnight because of a cash hold.
So why is PayPal doing this? Why are they
limiting their customers?
On the point of PayPal, I think
they are fair. If you are handling risky items or if you are doing transactions in bulks and if your movement of cash is too fast then you are likely to get
limited.
PayPal does this to protect its
customers for an example in drop shipping if you get the cash out from PayPal
and you do not send the item who will bear the loss for the cost that the customer
has paid?
How To get through this?
So, the first thing that I did was to stop all my selling on eBay, I made all the items to be sold as zero-Please
do this if you are limited because the more sales that you get from now the
more loss that you incur
I did call PayPal but it was no use because they have used a virtual
person and getting through her is not easy (Impossible in my view). Anyway, if
you want to try calling PayPal here’s a tip,
Call 00
1 402-935-2050
Usually their hours of operations
are from Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. it is useless calling otherwise.
From the start of the conversation
with the virtual machine try telling the word AGENT, AGENT,AGENT all the time
this way you have a higher probability in contacting an agent.
Since I was doing drop shipping, I
had all the tracking numbers with me, I updated
all my tracking numbers, I put USPS for USA customers and China post for
all the countries as my carriers.
Note that it is very important to
update the tracking numbers daily because if you do not update the tracking
numbers eBay as well as PayPal will thin that you are taking all the money but
not selling or sending the goods.
Even though the tracking numbers
from eBay are automatically updated in PayPal some say to update them in PayPal
manually, anyway in my instance I did not do so.
From there onward starts a long wait. But this wait is challenging because you will incur a lot of difficulties for the first three
to four months.
In my instance I borrowed money from family and friends and
settled my loss with the credit card
because if I wait for 180 days to
settle it the interest will be very high and I am not even sure that I will get
it.
Then came the issues with the
customers some say the item is broken some say the item is not as it is, some
say they did not receive the item, and even eBay is asking money for their promotions note that now PayPal and eBay
are looking at you be sure to spend the time as a genuine seller in this phase.
I did pay the money that I owed to eBay for using their services that
was around 200 $, and I discussed with customers
and my buyers on the other issues, say a customer
says that he did not receive the item, I contacted the real seller to send it immediately and if the item is broken tell the seller to send a new one, it became handy having multiple
sellers in your business so that you could discuss with them as a new customer.
I worked hard to maintain a positive
feedback on eBay, I spoke with the
customers who have given me negative
feedback to change their review by offering them a refund.
Please do not stat disputes with your customers, gain the loss that you are incurring right now to gain the big carrot at the end.
Any way be sure to maintain a positive
feedback above 90% and stay patiently.
In was limited on 23rd Aug 2019 and I was waiting till 23rd Jan 2020 to gain access to my
cash.
On 7th Jan 2020 I got a mail from PayPal that my cash is ready to be
transferred.
I was very happy I transferred my
cash to my account leaving only 5$
and it got deposited in like two to three minutes.
So that was my story, basically if
PayPal bangs your account that means that PayPal doesn’t want to do business
with you any more, I cannot use the account to get cash anymore even though I received.
So, are you banned from PayPal? Have
you got issues with PayPal? please comment below let’s see how I can help you
with my experience.
